Belts now done courtesy of @Dan@SJM, there was a small hole in the exhaust which was welded up.
Waiting on a pair of rear shocks as the rear left is completely dry, and
THE SHITTY OLD HEADLIGHTS ARE GOING.
^yeah, just pushed on. When you put them back on, turn the spindle anticlockwise until it hits the lower stop, then put the needle on halfway up and push it down to 0. If you go too far, you'll have to go right back up the gauge and push it against the top stop before you try it again.
Welcome to the region! My uncle's got a company down in Penryn, always thought it was nice down there.
We do have a meet in Par on the 25th, be glad to see you there!
In the report he says that the starter motor heatshield is missing, there's a motability kit fitted, and it has a Ph.1 engine. Those are the only real faults he lists.
There are plenty of people who would like to have built in navigation. It still works and you can still get updated maps for it so I don't see how it can be redundant.
What's this about a fire hazard? Was never mentioned in Fred's report on it.
Fcuking lol.
It's a reasonably tidy 182, in LY, and it's the only one with satnav. Having a different F4R in it makes zero real world difference.
Even if you knocked £1k off, it'd still be worth over £2500. IMO.

Yup, self levelling linkage. Hooks into the rear beam there, a bolt and a nylock nut will see that one working again, if you knock it through and make it a through hole (just don't do it up tight)
That would be incredibly effective if it weren't for the fact that the oil cap on a 1*2 is in fact made of very not-magnetic plastic. ;)
Suppose you could prod it though.
I'm on a 'did I or didn't I' period at the moment. Was a bit over the threshold but slowing down, as I came around the corner a speed camera van was sat on a bridge over 700 metres away. I'm half hoping my plate was hidden behind the centre armco while the last few mph were dropping off but I'll...
Chances are, with a laser gun, they're firing around a corner and trapping you as you come into view. By the time the detector's gone off, they've probably already got you.
Radar has a much shorter range, but most 'proper' equipment is laser these days, and radar limited to handheld guns...
