Mk2. I prefer the fly by wire throttle. Its faster responding than the cable throttle. Read http://www.picotech.com/auto/applications/electronic_throttle_control.htmlTHIS.
I prefer the looks, the interior is MILES better, the handling is better and I love Xenons and CC. As loony says, all...
What is all this 16s will slow you up business?? b****cks!!
This is a comparison between mk1 172 15s wheels and mk2 172 16s. Hardly any difference.
Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Circumference Revs/Mile Difference
185/50-15 3.6in 11.1in 22.3in 70.0in...
Mine hums. You sure its coming from under the bonnet. I can hear my Climate Control fan by the interior light.#
If you want to disarm the ultrasonics (door switches etc still active) then turn your ignition on and of twice, get out the car and lock it with the key fob. You will hear four beeps...
Ben, if you do my fanimold, can I have a sticker? lol.
I have a few questions for Andy, but ill PM him tomorrow because Im pissed atm.
But count me in for the mild stuff...
Superb. The world would be a much nicer place if more companies were like that.
Every other company I approached with problems have been nothing but trouble. Especially just recently with Sky Tv. f**king idiots. I pay £42 a month for crap TV and they still want to try and charge me a call out...
My 306 Dturbo was a far better handling car in terms of composure, but no where near my Clio in terms of fun.
At first, I hated having to really grab hold of the steering wheel as it bucks a weaves from side to side. It was a bit scary at first, but now its part of the fun....
Cup for ease of installation and looks. V6 spolier requires modified boot struts iirc.
172 spoiler because they fit well ( my old 172 spoiler was a better alround fir than my Cup spoiler oddly enough) and are dirt cheap. Youll be lucky to get a Cup soiler for under £120... 172 spoilers sell...
Thats a question and a half.... it wasnt a standard renault colour was it??
Might be worth asking on http://www.williamsclio.co.ukwww.williamsclio.co.uk ... theres some mk1 owners on there who dont use this site who may know, or at least know where to ask.
If its the more toys the better, the Cup is no good to you.
The Cup has no ABS, no ESP, no Xenons, sunday market upholstery, less soundproofing, thinner glass (172 windscreen is UV reflective), no split rear seat, no rear headrests, no boot net, lower powered stereo and speakers, no cruise...
No problem fella. :D
BOT, A Cup with CC is a brilliant idea imho. The die hard self proclaimed hard core (PMSL) Cup owners may argue, but its the best of both worlds.
No, they came with Climate Control, only if specified as an option. I believe Iceburg Silver was also made an option at the same time.
The options were bought out at the end of the 172 Cups production run, hence Cups with CC are quite rare, and Silver Cups with CC are even rarer.
Indicated being the key word...
Why would you want to ? Youll go quicker if you change earlier..... Only really worth holding on to second that long if your doing a 0-60 run imho..... better changeing just before to get into the meat of third without running out of puff in second....
