Yup - Snipe nosed pliers, angled snipe nose pliers got some of the new 'plastic' bahco sidecutters - awesome. All in the Bahco Ergo range. Real quality tools - you get what you pay for.
This is my facom socket set - It's only dinky but I'm only a tinker-linker :o (Electrical/Instrumentation...
What a pisser. Even more worrying is that it appears to be a regular thing!
Hopefully it will all get sorted and they'll drop you a recon engine that'll put out 180bhp...lol
*mental note to self - check condition of auxillary belt!*
I have a lovely little Facom socket set - real quality stuff.
I use Britool combination spanners.
Sandvik Bahco screwdrivers/adjustables/grips etc.
Knippon side cutters and pliers.
Also have some halfords pro stuff which is excellent imho. Draper expert also do some decent tools for...
Get a Cup or a Trophy. There is life after the Williams!! I'm not saying they're any better, but certainly offer a worthy alternative if your after a newer car.

;) ;)
Have to agree the mk1 is quicker... it's those basement bargain, cheap and nasty Cups that let the side down... ;)
Nor did I mate.
Maybe you could just scrape 200 with IK, zorst, cams and a remap, but it would have to be a custom one. Can't see what is essentially an off the shelf chip with those mods giving 210bhp.
Induction kit is an ITG Maxogen, fitted arse about face - They've removed that big useless hung of metal from the from the front of the plenham cover (?) And fed a cold air feed up to it.
As above - Renaultsport haven't made a 'bad' car yet - i'm sure they're not about to start now.
I think I'd still wait until the release the RS-3 TrophyCupGoblet with Cup options limited edition. If it's not your cash I guess it doesn't matter.
I agree with mark - I had a 1.2 16v dynamique and it was actually quite refreshing - quiet, smooth, same seats essentially as the 172 and handlied OK.
First courtesy car was a 1.2 8v boggo jobbie - truly awful!! Underpowered wasn't the word - I kept cutting people up at junctions etc -...
I appreciate most are franchised - my local dealer is. But your still governed to a certain extent by Renault UK are you not?
I don't blame you for wanting the sale - although I can't see how one car would make much difference. They're not even expensive!!
So there are vehicles available, but the garages that have them won't let other garages take them because they want to get the sale themselves for their figures.
Some service that is..
Surely Renault should be looking after the customers regardless of which garage gets the sale?
Re: c**k in a mk1 172 enfield
You obviously don't spend much time on the roads.... because if you did you'd be used to that kind of thing by now!!!
having said, most mk1 172 drivers are c**ks. ;) :clown: :D
