arse about cd changer.. but if i had a DVD player id be able to fit loads of albums on one dvd anyway..
that alpine head unit says about dash display compatability.. wonder if that is compatible with the clio dash display?
the 6 disc changer under my seat is a renault one factory fit but i noticed its an alpine changer??
so will an alpine headunit with cd changer control be able to control the 6 disc changer?
will it also be able to retain the stalk controls? (prob need an adaptor?)
was thinking about...
as people say, compromise
they have to put a cat in for emissions = reducing a bit of power
tyres need to be good all round, not really good in dry and ok in wet, but good in both.
the engine needs to be quietish, road noise needs to be kept to a minimum and comfort is still a priority...
get some superleggeras.. light weight performance wheels, not some heavy bling bling
top ones look ok but them fox things look cheaper than a whore in amsterdam.
yeah, the rim protectos just an edging on the tyre
it protrudes slightly more than the rim so protects it if you scrub it against a kerb.. in theory anyway.
proxes are pretty good BUT, they wont last very long at all.. expect to get around 8,000 mile from them.
mines started getting a bit louder when you listen from the side or when your parked next to a high wall or in a garage??.. think the exhaust may be blowing somewhere?
engine noise is fine, sometimes it seems to sound like a turbo though? the way it sucks the air in sounds like my mates 2.0...
thats the only reason im tempted to keep them..
but another part of me says go for a more sticky tyre..
can get the parada spec2s in V rating for 79 quid each and theyre nearly like slicks.. but good in the wet.
plus they look awesome...
norwich union told me it gives you a discount equivalent to a years no claims, but it isnt a real year no claim...and if i left after one year id only have 1 real year no claim
but i remember him saying if i stayed for another year, then i would leave with 3 no claims.. (2 real and 1 pass plus)
not sure whether to stick with the PE2s or change to toyo proxes or something as been impressed with them before?
or is it best to stick with the PE2s ?
when i took the 182 in for its service i gave them the fault code, that rs+15 and told them it beeps when locking doors and theres a modification to do
when i picked my car up they said theyve adjusted the bonnet alarm pin to cure the fault..
but it still does the beeping 2-4 times...
it seems ok anyway. that alcantara sites good for the cleaning stains out guide.
but the link is dead, ya have to go to the main alcantara website and view the new washing alcantara section..
drink driving really isnt good.. i was opening a bottle of coke which had been in my footwell.. it fizzed up and went all over. i felt like id pissed myself
my main concern is the alcantara on the seat.
so i grabbed my coat and began wiping it out, when i got home i got a damp cloth and been...
so looks like im not going to beat my previous cars time at york then (14.7 seconds) in my standard 182.
unless i get a perfect run and ive got a decent engine.
