I think I used paint stripper or something like that to get all the annoying stickers that were on my car when I bought it. It just melts it off! Just be carefull not to get any on the car!

Just out of interest, what revs you pulling in 5th with the williams box. The valver is about 20mph/1000rpm

I suspect its down to the willy gearbox. What revs are you pulling at 120mph? (on a valver box its 6000RPM) The Williams box ratios are longer than a valvers so the engine isnt revving high enough in 5th i.e. not producing the power, to pull it to 130mph & beyond.

My valver runs at a certain temperature when Im driving it normally, when I drive it hard it runs slightly hotter, then when its gets slightly hotter still, the low temp fan switch cuts in and cools it down. Why bother waiting till it gets another 5 degrees hotter till the fan kicks in?

Ive got a low temp fan switch from BBPT, and think its an essential mod, I wouldnt go back to the standard one. Ive never heard of any uprated fans available for the valver though, you dont really need one though, the standard one is good enough IMO.

Its simple, undo 4 bolts, replace cat with de-cat, redo 4 bolts. Job done.

How much are the uprated ones from Hill Power?

I like the phase 2 grill so thats staying. I cant make my mind up about the badges so Ill probably leave them on.

My brother took his VTS there a while ago to get lowered, and they truely fcuked it up. In the end he had to take it all the way to GMC in scotland and get them to sort it out.

No, thats what the temp gauge reads, but its not hot, I had it up just over two thirds the other day when I was fitting a new fan motor and it still wasnt very hot, still perfectly safe.
