Ive got a K-Tec 4.5" exhaust & straight through de-cat on my valver, looks brilliant, good, noticeable performance gains, and very LOUD. If you got a silenced de-cat, it will be quieter.

My valver always seemed that bit quicker when its really cold, when the air temp is about freezing. The cooler, denser air going into the engine making that bit of extra power. Well thats my theory anyway. Tom

North Wales I was thinking about getting a cheap one from a scrap yard, but if its going to be a b!tch of a job to fit, Id prefer putting in a new one than just having to do it again if one from a scrappie dies too.

The de-cat is just clamped on with 4 bolts. There is no way a chip and de-cat will add 20bhp on their own

Ive de-catted my valver and was very happy with the performance difference. Torque & Power were only marginally increased but both peaked at 300RPM lower, which meant out on the road, there was a hugely noticeable increase in performance.

The bearings on mine have justed seized up this morning and now it wont move at all. Where can I get another one.......cheap? Also, how much of a b!tch is it to fit? There doesnt seem much room to play with down there!

Ive just had mine changed this morning, got a original oil filter for the 2.0 as it has a nut on the end of it, and makes it a much easier job to do.
