if you do have one stripped when you get a chance could you get the pcd of the mouting holes for me please? that would at least give me a starting point :) else i will be buying a shed load of clio axles untill i find the one that fits best ha!
hi guys has anyone got any pictures of the rear stub axle off a clio 1*2, as in not attached to the car? if not can anyone confirm that the brake carrier/bacing plate is attached to the stub axle itself?
also the pcd of the bolt holes?

youl be suprised mate, the wheel well on my car was level with the bottom of the bumper, which is too low, and too far back so the sweep of the diffuser wouldent clear the back
well put it this way the diffuser wasent cheap second hand. and thats after i found one. so its not a cheap mod expesially because theres so much work involved to fit it
not to hand mate but i can get some on wednesday for you. but like i said before you go spending your money check how low your wheel well sits and how far back it is. if its too low or far back then your looking at a lot of work to get it to fit.
ive had to cut my wheel well out and weld a...
im currently doing this to my mk1 ph2 megane. its a nightmare if the wheel well comes anywhere near the bottom of the bumper, ive had to chop my wheel well out lol.

bought a brand new mild steel centre box and pipe for my megane, fitted it the next week, started it up the monring after i fitted it and it had white fluffy stuff coming out of it!
wasent best pleased but thats the only time its happened to me
buy better quality extention bars! or use an impact socket onto the torque wrench directly, maximum strength from the tools.
then apply progressive force to the handle of the torque wrench, extending it with a scafold if you need to. standard thread on a driveshaft
i was weary of buying a breaker bar because i didnt think id use it. turns out i use it a lot more than i thought i would. comes in handy breaking wheel nuts/bolts etc. and if your into your diy mechanics stuff like bottom strutt mounting bolts and cylinder head bolts are easy with one :)
i...
with variable vane turbos these days on diesels providing no lag at all and with the technology already making its way onto higher spec petrol cars lag WILL be a thing of the past. turbos are the way forward, accept it and move on :)
i do like a NA screamer tho :)
ive always wondered this... my job means i work shifts which start 6-3, 11-8, 8-6
appart from the 3 o clock going home time i dont travel in the usual times where it gets busy back and fore to work, so how would they know and why do i bother insuring it on my policy? surely im at no more of a...
yeah i understand there are loads of diffrent ways to do it, all have theyre pros and cons. but im currently looking into this dyno idea, being as the engines out and it wouldent be much of an issue to lob it in the back of the daily hack drive it up to somewhere and whack it on a dyno it seems...
