Looks like it comes with cambelt already changed mate, so no worries about that.
I'd say it's a bargain, but if your mate's offering it to you at that price then I'd say print out the Pistonheads advert and go for the jugular!
Don't get much stick really, I find that most of my mates either aren't into cars so all drive whatever they can (Clio, Corsa, Fiesta, etc) or they're big time into cars and know what I mean when I say I own a RenaultSport Clio.
I did have fun embarrassing some big, flashy BMW off the lights...
They're good if you're happy to stay with the same company, but you often find different insurance co's won't acknowledge another company's 10month accelerated bonuses...
It's just the stuff off it I want, so it'll be okay to install a fresh copy of Windows on the new hard drive, and then add the older hard drive afterwards, so the PC will boot up to the new windows and then access the old hard drive from there?
Thanks a lot Chris :)
My next query is running two hard drives... one new one that will have a new copy of XP on it, and my old one with and old version of XP, along with all the things I want to keep.
I've been told then when both hard drives are installed, it simply asks you which one you...
Also, anyone got a guide on how to install a second internal Hard Drive!?! Want to put my old HDD with all my stuff on it onto the new PC, along with the brand spanker new one.
Cheers :)
Reason for edit: read the rules re pirated software
That's what I thought, but I have recently attended a Personal Licencing course and the person holding it said that an average lager (4-5%) is just over 2 units. Stella Artois is stronger at 5.5% or something and equates to closer to 3 units per pint.
Either way, a good night out takes a lot...
Yeah, certainly a case of luck. The last 'Petrol Blue' spray I bought from them was excellent, highlighting the various shades of flip perfectly, but I guess silver is a harder match.
Anyone know of any decent suppliers in Exeter!?!
For every unit of alcohol you drink (say 6 pints of Stella = 18units), it clears out of your system on average 1unit per hour AFTER you have stopped drinking. So, you finish your 6 pints of wifebeater at 11pm, to be safe you should really leave it until the following evening to drive again...
Just started spraying up some bumpstrips, but first had to get '647' mixed up at Halfrauds as they don't stock it as standard.
I admittedly haven't finished and am hoping that a few more coats will lighten the colour gradually as the primer is hidden, but it's a pretty dark grey at the moment...
And another thread decents into handbags....
If you're not driving it much, then getting it GDI'd is a pretty hefty whack to pay out for a few track days. Alternatively, if money isn't really an issue then go for it. If your missus just doesn't like driving it then maybe sort her out with a...
Well it isn't the PSU, and the PC guy reckons that the chances are if the CPU has gone then so has the board, due to the age of it.
Cheers for the vid mole, looks like the whole she-bang needs replacing, although my CPU didn't have any evidence of melting like the ones in the video... just a...
The whole bloody heatsink fell off, as one of the plastic clip things on the CPU snapped off...
Hmm, maybe I'll steal my parents PSU quickly and see if that sorts it... are PSU's pretty much universal, even if they look different on the outside?
If it's left switched off for a little while and then switched on again, the fan spins for literally a second and then stops again, nothing happens on screen.
I don't know what happened when the heatsink/fan fell off as I went to work with the PC on and came home and it was off!
I know bits...
Lol, don't really mind paying £20-30 for them because I got the strips pretty cheap. But with everyone saying how bad the parts depts are in dealerships, I ideally want to have an exact part number to go in with!
Don't fancy the whole "but you have a different style of 2litre badge sir... let...
So it's an AMD...
If I choose to repair, what parts am I going to need? Can someone link me to specific parts that I'd need to purchase? Looking at the old case, it's an AMD Athlon XP, about 4/5 years old, but that's all I know!
Just wondering if anyone knows the part number for the newer 2litre badges for the Clio?
I've picked up some new style bumpstrips that need spraying, but I won't bother doing them yet if I can't get the badges to match for ages!
No probs mate, am just trying to figure a way of getting myself sorted out again. My current PC was only a cheap Acer job about 5 years ago now, with various parts upgraded, so I'm not too bothered. Just want to find something pretty cheap (sub £300) that's going to do all the basics I need doing...
It's a, uh, Pentium... honest! (Dammit, stupid bloody AMD!)
Oh well, whilst I'm on the subject, what's anyone's opinion of this?

I could replace the relevant...
Hope someone can help!
Right, I came home last night to my computer off and refusing to switch on. My girlfriend said she left it on when she left for work earlier in the day, so it lost power at some point after that.
On inspection, the fan that cools the motherboard/CPU has become detached...
The only risk of colours together is, like the Zetec S stand at FITP last year, there will be seas of the same colours together. So you'll have loads of silver 172's and Blue Williams all grouped together which may make it a bit boring...
I think it was about on a particular day nobody has mentioned Cliosport, I have a feeling there have been a fair few 'Cliosport' mentions coming through!
