Mine's staying as it is until Saturday afternoon now, just no point maintaining it any further because the mission of a drive will ruin the finer points. I'll just be bringing my array of cleaning goodies and hope I have access to water if I need it on Sunday!

:S Always do mine myself, won't even trust the girlfriend to clean it properly and she doesn't like cleaning it because I'll criticise it! I actually enjoy spending a Sunday morning cleaning the car though, fresh air, time to myself and a chance to catch a bit o' sun in the summer months as...

Nah, only the passenger side one feeds the IK, although I am tempted to investigate whether both feeds can make their way through the maze that is the front of the engine bay to the IK! All that cold air may require a remap though...

Doing mine tomorrow, even arranged the use of a mate's abandoned barn if the weather's s**t! Then minimal driving during the week, a quick detail on Saturday morning, again Saturday afternoon and then I'll review it on Sunday morning! Obsessive, me? Never.

A 6 month old car not starting first time? There's no way they can expect you to just accept that. If they can't fix it then surely it's a case of replacement.

I suggest just letting the guys who are organising the stand layout do their job guys. It's going to be hard enough putting what they have in mind into practice without having to also try to accommodate everyone's requests!

So am I okay to apply and leave to harden before removing, as long as direct sunlight isn't heating it up too much? Or am I better applying and removing soon after? Car looks nice mate, am hoping to get something like that mirror finish myself, silver is a bugger to reflect!

Kinda connected... When applying P21s, or any 'solid' wax, do you want to just rub an applicator / cloth in it so there's a small amount to apply, bit by bit, or actually get a small 'lump' of wax on the cloth and then work it in? I've only ever used liquid waxes before!

Just wondering because I was after a set before next weekend but haven't had much luck on Ebay. A guy local to me wants £45 for a set, but this seems a bit steep... what has everyone else paid for a set?
