Sounds like 144 is a bit silly looking at the guys installs who are geting 130 odd. Decibels are a logrithmic ratio of change and not a unit of sound as such. Thus the difference between 130 and 144 is a f**king lot!!!

Good tyres. Standard fitment on the 182 and most people seem to rate them. £318 for 4 seems a good price too.

I dont think Renaultsport have spent countless hours fine tuning the entire chassis and then pulled the number 16" out of a hat when choosing the wheels. Im pretty sure the wheels are 16" for a reason. Or it could be because theyre cheaper than 17"s. :p

Pretty much. Wash your car and dry it. Then spray with Meguirs Quik Detailer and rub the clay over the paintowrk, the wipe of detailer before it dries. Paintwork feels so smooth. You need to wax once you have done this.

Wipers - Pull stalk down to first position. Lights - Switch on ignition (not start the car) turn the lights on and off twice until you hear a beep. Your lights will then come on as if by magic when it gets dark!! I think. lol . [Edited by lagerlout1 on 12 May 2005 at 9:14pm]

Doubtful. There were about 2100 Cups made.... and there has to be quite a few more 172s than that!!! Especially since everytime somebody mentions the words frost about a dozen instantly get written off. lol.

Im not one of the deluded ones fella, you dont have to convince me. I dont care what my car can/cant beat ... all I know is I enjoy driving it and thats enough for me. Obviously isnt for some though. Although I have to add that, in a straight line at least, Ive had more trouble with VTSs than...

We dont think, we know.:p Seriously, not all of us do. Similarily, not all VTS drivers are spotty teenagers with burberry caps and the entire soveriegn collection from Elizabeth Duke...:D;)

Nah, just a lot shorter than the standard one. its only about 6"s long. Only reason Im getting one is because Im getting a Cup spoiler on my 172 and it fouls on the standard aerial!!
