Correct. Draws air from the cabin over the temperature sensor. Dont think theres too much you can do about it unless you intend to replace it.

That looks nice. The Ktec one is £89 + vat which is £105 ish, plus delivery so no that cheap. I got mine for £25 second hand, which was nice!! You can get a brand new one off ebay with fittings for £55.
