    a complete 172 engine, box, ecu, ALL ancilliaries, etc etc... 3500 miles... I am toying with the idea of a v6 front mounted transplant ???.. If I had a definite buyer for the engine, box, shafts.. possibly brakes etc.. (Also included would be exhaust manifold and induction pipes...) I...

    I agree Neal, however... I am no stranger behind the wheel. LOL... in most cases, yes.. I know exactly where you are coming from. I can also mix it with the best on the twisites.. but.. this example here is sheer grunt accleration.. and he pulled away from the fastest hot hatch available...

    Handling!!

    tc is traction control.. try spinning the wheels ??. brake assist will apply brake from the abs to the wheel that has lost traction, (This is not the same as TC which works on the throttle valve motor) the brake assist is a last resort really.. for when god intended you to be in the scenery...

    No probs Neal, give it a few k more miles, hopefully it will be fine. also, check the back disks ... they take LOTS of miles to bed in properly.. From 800 miles to 2800 miles, I had a full car with 5 adults as my bro was visiting from canada.. I am sure that settled my suspension in LOL...

    172 engine complete with all ancilliaries £1k

    yep, I know where there is a 172 lump, NEW with ALL ancilliaries, you would need the ecu though... a grand cash.. or... how about a v6 lump with gearbox (6 speed as per clio v6..) Again, factory New !!.. 2 grand for the lot... Also, how about an accident damaged 172 mk1.. heavy front...

    Handling!!

    Neal, leave the wheels, they are fine I think you may need another 2k on the clock, the suspension is a bit like ... errr .. hard.. to start with.... it DOES soften up a fraction at about 3-4000 miles.... it alters the handling too as it beds in. I notice that your car may be Dutch, if so...

    Jeeeez, dem buggers is quick.. had a play with one today... slight up hill, we both gave it harry flatters.. and the result... he was pulling away... All I can say is that when the HP turbo comes it, you can say adios... Nice wave from the driver as I turned off... good show. Joe...
