yes there is, i know the area, virtually live there, and every time i go near bmouth town centre i see about 3 or 4 182s, seen 182 cups as well, mk1 172s about 4-5 of them.
trust me renaults are popular in bournemouth lol
lsd helps with that alot
you can eliminate it if you tune the chassis lots
but id imagine with it being not a track car he just whack in a lsd and hold on tight
i have driven a 280bhp saab 9-3 viggen with the abbott racing rescue handling kit.
have to say it was a fecking animal and so luxury, was making torque figures well into the 320lbfts for a heffer lump it went like stink, and handled pretty well needle went round to 150mph quicker than those...
the starter will turn and it will sound whiney
happened in the exact same way to my mate car got to a roundabout and just stalled, every thing else was fine
im with malice, the turbo 1 and 2 cars were made purely for homolgation, the v6 wasnt
another thing that really pisses me off with the v6 is the weight of the thing, cos renault couldnt be bothered to make all new wings and decided to add aload of fibre glass
to it funny when people on here...
what i would say is that you have to take into consideration
that warmer weather= more traction
id guess that car to be in idle conditions say 18-20 degress be 13.4-13.5 @105 max
lol @ ballcrusherm
you knows it ;)
thats a 5turbo though, and a 12sec 5 at that, that said that speedo clip was taken waaaay before it was a 12 sec car :)
yeah i know didnt mean to hijack it,
i guess the difference between the two is torque and where the car makes peak torque,
clio certainly sounds the business,
needs quicker gearchanges though ;)
i love it when it peeps say ah yeah but its a turbo
its a 1960s pushrod 1.4 8v ffs lol it bears relevance cos there both renault hatch backs tuned,
btw i think people are getting me confused here, i have upmost respect for that clio and the guy who built it, it is very very quick...

yuk
not my cuppa tea looks like its on steels which isnt necessarly a bad thing (on the right car , like a old r5 cup car)
anthracite perhaps would of been a better contrast, the whole black on black has been done to death.
would like to see the 182 trophys anthracite turinis on a black 182

if you can get a sti 5/6 type RA lightweight then get that,
ultra short gearing, will leave most things standing, and handle like a dream oh and you get the all important DCCD (driver controlled centre diff) meaning OVERSTEER!!!
yeah with the power of that vag you should be into the 11s
mikes 12.18 run was done on 230bhp, carbed, not fully stripped, just a good driver, and sticky slicks
he building one which will run 11s poss high 10s watch this space :) and that still 1.4 8v not a different car companys much...

That exact same reason is why it aint worth (for me at least) getting an M3, V6...

those of you that think tuned saxos are slow, etc, dont know what your talking about.as for the M3 being able to out corner a sorted saxo, not a chance. maybe a CSL would, but thats cos its tuned.my track saxo has eaten many a faster car on track...
