Ive been without my Central locking and alarm for a few months until yesterday when Renault "fixed" the central locking. Quick question - Shouldnt there be a beep of some sort to show that the alarm has been activated? I hear the locks operate but nothing else.

I know that particular unit has been discussed a few times. Try searching and you should get a few results.

UPDATE - They are now blaming the Uch as you quite rightly guessed Jay!

Its not build quality that the problem its just the finish that lets them down. Ive had a mk2 172 and a Cup and never had any engine probs.

"Official" capacity is 50 litres. Remember the guage is not a linear representation of the fuel tank. 3/4 on the guage doesnt necessarily mean you have used a quarter of a tank.

I would seriously do what you can to get the police to take a look at this guy. I asked him how he came to get 5 alloys when the Cup has 4.. This was he uneditied reply... "dont worry il sort sum out 4 u!wot else do u need?i can get anything"
