I know it, on the way to Donington!??!
I am about tomorrow and I have the star headed drivers you need. If you need any help let me know and Ill see what I can do.
Actually looking at your forum name unless youre a fan of that dodgy kids programme I take it your from the Birmingham area? If so where abouts as I might be able to give you a few pointers....
My advice to you would be to start the process as if you were going to remove the dash and once the front part is loose see how much room you have to get you arm behind.
I imagine you are doing this in order to fit a new HU with a large wiring loom on the back of it.
I wouldnt go into this with the assumption that its extrememly easy. Granted for some people it was a peice of piss but I can assure you it was a hell of a job for me.
Depends when you took your test. I passed in 1994 so Ive got C1 (amongst others) but people who passed a few years later havent got as many options.
Best to check the back of your license.

Sure that wasnt the big bag of sweets and the puppy on the passenger seat?
;)
They tried to deny they ever mentioned any extras mate, that was until I sent them a copy of their own brochure. Then it all went quiet.......... No doubt a marketing scam. Lets build up the hype, chuck in some nice official extras with absolutely no intention of ever releasing them.

When I went to collect my first 172 (mk2) the pcb had gone in the dash meaning no speedo, rev counter, computer etc... I asked if it had been through a pre delivery check and they assured me it had.
They even wanted to to drive the car home while they "would see when they could fit it in"
Personally met the head service manager of the Sutton Park motor company when I had a complaint with Sutton Park (Sutton Coldfield). If his arrogance is anything to go by all Sutton Park dealers must be the same.
