buy my new car are pre-registered. Not that it makes any difference. Im happy to save a few hundred quid. I asked at the Renault Dealers if it made any difference to the part-ex price that it was pre-reg and he said not in the slightest.

I would say the performance of my 172 has increased by about 15% since it was new. It has just over 11,000 miles on it now. Its the same with pretty much any car.

Spot on ^^^ I cant see the point myself either. 20kg is less than the weight of a full tank of fuel!! Its a marketing exercise (and so was the 182 up to a point) cashing in on the sucess of the 172 Cup. The word Cup is starting to mean something in this country and has a recogniseable image...
