How? is it garaged in an air raid bunker/ armed guards with Rotweilers?
24, 25 in January, parked on driveway, no points or convictions, full NCB as I protected it last year so this unsettled claim shouldn't affect it. And every one seems to be rubbing there hands together. renewal is Friday...
my policy is for it parked on the driveway so I asked about it garaged and it went down £90, but it would have cost £140 to rent an empty garage round the corner
tried 4 more companies today, all set nearly £2000 becasue I'm too young at 24?
Blue 172 cup in the back Freeport carpark in Braintree Tuesday night, 17" alloy multispokes. Cold air feed in front grille and '172 cup' badge on RH side of front bumper
Don't tell me things like that!!!!
She didn't give way at a side road, pulled out infront of me and forced me onto the wrong side of the road to avoid hitting her, then turned right across me leaving me nowhere to go. she then has the cheeck to accuse me of trying to overtake her.
TAKE IT TO...
I went online with Halifax and they would not let me proceed any further and this notice came up in red at the side of the screen:
'your carWe are unable to offer you a Halifax Car Insurance quote online due to your age and the vehicle you have selected. Please call our Contact Centre instead...
Still waiting for them to phone me back after I gave them all my details.
I couldn't get a quote from performance direct, said I had already logged in before and needed my password, I'd never used them before?
Privilege are still coming out top at £700
Privilege are still the best at £700
2nd are Tesco and Adrian Flux at £800/£850
Ashbourne told me to stay with my current insurer
A - Plan I'm waiting for them to phone me back as they have to check on it.
Not tried Halifax, there next!
It must be becasue I've got an unsettled claim that...
over £1000 for both of them. Privelidge are coming back at £700 but they won't do anything about my claim unless I chase them and threaten to speak to citizens advise
Can anyone recommend any good car insurance companies for my 182. I'm currentl with Privelidge but don't want to stay with them as they're really useless.
24 yrs old, full license, full no claims discount apart from 1 claim unsettled from this summer that Im trying to take to court.
Loads of...
If you turn the ignition on and off a couple of times before you lock it, it disables some of the sensors so you can set the alarm and leave the windows down at the same time.
Sorry, but that's not true with my 182. whether other owners will agree or not I don't know. As soon as I hit the apex of a bend, it's on full throttle with my left foot dragging the brake to stop the understeer.
As for heel and toe braking, tried it from high speed and you can really tell the...
Silver 172, didn't see a CS sticker in the windows but it did have for sale adverts in them.
Was just leaving Witham on the main road to Braintree at approx 7.45 this morning. By the time I'd noticed him he was already going past me
An RS rear bumper would give it a huge facelift, Big disc conversion on the front will aid looks and also make you a faster driver, (the better your brakes, the later you have to brake, equals more time on full throttle)
That is mosty likely me, live in Braintree, work in Witham. Think I've only spotted you the once though. Was gutted I couldn't get down to the two meets in Essex the other week
Any pics? Don't think I've ever seen or heard of petrol blue
I just found this on the Renaultsport site, have a look at 'sales data and colour range', it answers my question. How many LY's are on here?
http://www.renaultsport.co.uk/roadcars/heritage/clio182/
Was just wondering how many other Liquid Yellow 182's there are about?
I think I've seen a couple on here, but I've only seen 1 on the roads near me in Essex
It was lowered, red brake calipers and BBPT stickers on the bonnet with the Arsenal logo on the number plates I think
Is this the...
I had a 2003 1.4 16v clio and it would consistenly do 45mpg including the odd country road blat. motorways and bypass driving would see 52mpg.
fill up with petrol and reset your trip computer and see how many miles you get from a full tank of petrol and you can work out a combined figure.
my...
04 plate met blue cup around 10/ half past saturday night at the petrol station at Boreham Sainsbury's.
Pulled in behind me as I was filling up
Hopefully he didn't see my passenger side, that some stupid woman decided to run her van down
It was me. Sorry mate didn't see you anywhere? Think I need my eyes tested
No sticker as I'm only a forum user. Will hopefully be seeing you all at highlands park on the 5th though but it won't let me post on the link.
I've not met any other RS owners round this way so should be good
I cooked my OE front brakes on B-roads so went to BBPT ( bet I get slated for that) but there better than original.
upgraded to 'BBPT 172 & 182 Mintex Xtreme Front Brake pads' & '172 & 182 High Carbon front brake discs'.
Work well from cold but do get increasingly better when warmed up...
I drove a 182 cup car the other week at Bedford Autodrome on a PalmerSport track day.
Absolutely awesome bit of kit, thought it was the most fun car out of the whole day!
Was surprised at how different it felt to my road going 182 though
The cills, lower doors and rear bumper seem to be covered in little tar sports or something similar that I can't seem to remove.
Any advice on what to use, Ive tried my mild degreaser I use on my mountain bike but it won't remove the worst of it
