i am (will be when its finished) 21 years old with 1 year NCB
and 6 points
the clio 172 will be on about 4000miles per year limited millage
but will be highly modifed. charged/ lots of other mods. around 400hp.
there are also many many other mods,
could i class this as a kitcar. as...
im sure you wont. maybe a way to find out would be to see what exhaust you have on at the moment. if it is a magnex/k-tec then the odds are any aftermarket will fit m8y.
im not sure Mark. ive heard a load of horror stories about the omex in the last few months.
plus im not sure it will run all the "parts"
this i am at a loose end
what sports cat is it?
if it isnt a powerslow or a custom job. then any other 172 exhsut should fit. if the car is a psh1 172 then the cats are shorter so the standard system is longer (or the other way round)
most aftermarket ct-backs have a telescopic sleve to allow for this adjustment
the carbon loraines are getting very good reviews, theres a few more on the market which i have never used so cant comment.

depends on how hard you drive. if they are stock pads and you drive hard then prob 10k if you take it easy then proberly 15k.
why not have a look at the pads, anything over 6mm left will do about 5k
this vtr pump seems to have a fluid return

the only problem i can see if that the 106/vts has a biult in fluid res.. which is fine but it only seems to have one outlet for the pumped fluid?
where as the 172 has a pipe out into the rack then from the rack back into the Res? and the vts/gti pump does not have this
or am i just talking...
i need space on my AUX line. ive lost the aircon and lost the PAS pump also fitting a volvo alternator and bracket (sits lower and is smaller)
was thinking lastnite, i could use my PAS rack and not fit a manual rack,
then ....remember on the 106GTis/ saxo VTs's they have fluid driven PAS...
so far ive managed to loose 140 kgs of s**t from my psh1 172.
