i have so far removd the AC,PAS,im leaving the belt driven water pump as its at the bottom of the block, and wont be getting in the way. i wont be having the standard inlet manifold either ;)
no no, never ! they seem good. mite be an idea to go for cams and the headwork dude, if the heads gona be off then may as well stick them in as there will be no extra labour a you have to take the old ones out when removing the head! so jsut the raw cost of the cams
what cams were you looking at
do the dog bone first, then the topmount >. pull the engine forward (towards the bumber)
follow that giude. remember the mounting for the dogbone needs like the top of it is leaning back and the bottom is pointing forward. it will only move 5mm
yer mine used to do it @ 70 anything after that and it went awol!
it happends when you refit the box with the sensor in, if its knocked then they f**k up as its like a plastic wheel on a stick LOL
i dont need mine for like 10 weeks. ( i will need it back or a second hand replacement) upto...
try this, it should work
jack the car up and secure it.
drop the front bolt of the new dog bone mount. (engine side)
see the black bracket attached to the gear box?
slacken the top bolt to finger tight its 13mm
then using a screwdriver or something to pivet the bottom of the black bracket...
