Ive had both goodyear and toyos in 16s. Depends whether your prepared to spend the extra money for the extra quality. Hav gone for Michelin Exalto this time for something diffferent. The Toyos are a bargain for the money they sell them at.

Money mainly, why I dont go for the KW kit. Was gonna fit it myself, but this seems like a no go. How much do you reckon K-tec will charge for it??? Anyone know of a place in NW to set it up???

I got 2" Stripe. Wanted a pre cut graphic but they werent prepared to do it. Its the roof that bothers me. Everywhere else should be pretty striaight forward.

Im not gonna order them from renault. Wanna put them on ma balck172. Think they will go well with the back and I got white wheels as well. Got 2" Graphics from my local Graphics shop. Just have to fit them very carefully.

Ride can be a bit harsh. depends on wot level of comfort you like. Its not really bad. But you do feel the bumps a bit.

I prefer the bottom ones too. Are these a dealer fit option or a factory fit????

Anyone noticed the difference in the renault press cars. Not only do the stripe continue further on one than the other, but they are also in different parts of the bonnett:confused:. Does anyone actually have them off renault. Am going to do mine this week. Just trying to decide were to put them.

Mytyres gave me a delivery date of next Friday. Just hope I dont get pulled or have an accident cause my tyres are well bald!!!

When I looked around when buying I saw this on quite a few Mk1 172s, but never on a MK2.

I know the original was standard 172 rubber. Anyone tried these???? Am considering these as am struggling to get michelins from mytyres.net

If you reckon the Uniroyals are that good then I may be tempted. A saving of £50 over the Michelins and £40 over the contactsport2. Really want the michelins... Will wait till monday and see whether they e-mail mw with there availability.

Still not turned up and two weeks after ordering. Rang them today and Michelins arent in stock. They said I could change my order. Am thinking of trying Conit Sport Conact2. Not sure. Dont fancy the Uniroyals and Toyos are out of stock.

Some of the lesser models have always had michelins. Its weird seems a bit random as to whether you get michelins or contis.
