problem is that they dont have the majority of front end parts in stock. Try http://www.cit-ren.co.ukwww.cit-ren.co.uk They gave really good service and value when I used them
I like the 40mm Apex1.2/1.4/1.6. Nice balance between low looks and and good handling. My mate had G max on his extreme and the difference between the two was noticeable. The Apex were much better quality and also the ride and handling was better.
I had a bad expierence at a renault dealer in rochdale, think it was called PGC. When I was looking for a 172. Complained to renault, but they took very little action over. The sales manager was a T**t and told me to think carefully before buying such a high performance car at my age!!!!
The problem is that the midsection and cat were replaced in July and I have lived with it then in the hope kniaevely that it will be sorted. Mine seems to make the echo through the dash. As the centre section fractured last time, Im concerned that its gonna do it agian.
I am sick of trying to find positives of renault service. It is just not accpetable.
Tried to book my car in to have the 4k rattle looked at again. The nearest appointment was nearly two weeks of when Im holiday. I explained this and they then said well why dont I leave it with them while im...
Have you told them you think its bad petrol, Im not sure it would even cross there minds, its not as if they look at anything that you havent requested, or fix anything cause they noticed it wrong.
Howd you manage to get the cat back for £250??? the twin 3" would be my preference. Thats a real bargain, best ive found is £292 for magnex not fitted. Do you not mean £350:confused:??
If you wanted a bit of project then Id go for the williams, if your doubting maybe try to contact previous owners to chech whether the mileage an SH is correct.
It really depends whether your hoping to keep it running while you fix it and whether youve got the cash to do it properly.
When was it born then??? I got by dynamique delivered three weeks after. Back when the model first came out.
My Iceberg 172 was 21st June 2001 which is the day the model was launched in the uk so must have been one of the very first!!!!
I like the fact that its stainless and thats really good value. not sure bout the single exit though. Any regrets. Looks ok on there web page. Really want a DTM style like the remus rally design.
i gotta say mine runs much better on optimax, esecially in tickover, is nowere near as lumpy. I filled up with Bp Super Unleaded, it is was very expensive at 83.9 (Though BPs usually are in My area) and it was definitley not running as well as it does on Optimax.
Take it its still not...
Alymac, If you look under the steering wheel there will be a label wrapped around a bunch of wires this has the date that the computers were programmed so should give you a rough idea of when the car was in the build process.
Jim, mines lowered 40mm as well so you can imagine that there was really not room for it to get under the wheels without actually smashing the splitter.
