Eddd, it is attched the bumper by 8 (I think, maybe 6) self tapping screws. Dead easy to do, took bout ten mins to fit, I did mine myslef.

Cup Splitter is a piece of plastice that sits below the bumper. Very subtle and very expensive, but finishes the front off nicely.

sounds like dropiing it out will be the best option as currently I have no cooling system in place, the top engine mount is being replaced, so only the gearbox one to undo, Big Iain, have decided that some of the repairs on the 172 I am rebulding will be esier to do with the engine out.

Have been having a look at doing this. It appears that the engine drops out on the subframe. Am I right in thinking this and also has anyone got and advice or tips.. Any help much appreciated. Cheers Adam

Would be an Audi S3. If you want something a little unusual, howbout a Seat Leon Cupra???? For me though the S3 has class about, and with the quattro would be some serious fun, looking to test drive one this week, though will be a while before I get one.

Agree paddymph, am looking forward to getting an S3 in a couple of years, just gotta put up with the constant battles to get the car fixed properly, in the mean time.
