I got my tom tom one for £159.99 in the sale in Halfords too, seems to be good, although I've not really had the need to use it properly yet. It's easy to use though, can just go straight into any car, no need to fit any of the extra bits, which is what I wanted, and works with the uv windscreen.
Leeshez - It rattles, I can hear it quite badly when the car is still at lights, like a vibrating rattle.
Subaru Power - Thanks, that's nice of you, where abouts are you based?
And everyone else, thanks for the advice and suggestions, hopefully *touch wood* this will be it now! And...
Well, too late now, I was just about to call them to say don't bother when someone turned up! He seems ok though, quite an oldish guy, and I watched it being driven away, I can see quite a way off where I work, and he was driving it pretty slow from what I can see. But I know the milage and...
Yeah I know, I don't want to at all, I'm not sure what to do though! The noise it makes drives me mad, so I want it sorted, and going to another dealers would mean wasting a days holiday at work to get there! But I don't want them driving it! I've took a note of the miles, and I know my car is...
It's not that they've even ordered the wrong part (yet!) It's not been ordered at all!!! But I will get back on to the customer service/service manager of all the sites, who was the one who agreed to do it. She wasn't about today, but I will complain - but not until after it's been done! Don't...
Right, for anyone who was following the threads about how much trouble I was having getting Renault to fix the ecu bracket - I finally convinced them to do it under warranty.
The car was booked in for this morning, so I get there, they ponce around for ages because their system didn't...
No, I don't think so, just get the cup packs on the 182. If it was between the 172 ff and 172 cup then I'd say it's just down to what you want from the car, but I don't think there is enough difference in the 182 cup to make it worth losing all the creature comforts.
If you like the saxo, then you will probably prefer the 182 to the 197 in terms of fun, I went from a vtr to the 182, and when I took the 197 for a test drive, it just didn't seem to have the same appeal. imo of course :) And the 182 still has lots of toys on it.
Yep, it took alot of complaining, but I got there in the end. Down to luck really, the customer service/service manager of 4 sites was at the dealers today, and my bf happened to ask for a complaint form while he was there, she soon got it sorted asap! Getting it done on thursday :)
