Cup brakes + suspension

  Pink & Blue 182, JDM DC2

Think at 24,000 miles my Cup is in need of some new bits.

Brakes

Id like to replace my front and back disks n pads on my Cup with something that looks the part a bit more, and doesnt fade quite so heavily under breaking. Not wanting to break the bank balance here, but some ideas would be appreciated.

Suspension

Should I be looking at coilovers or just some lowering springs? Id like to lower around 20mm or so, just enough, not too much - if that makes sense. Again, dont want to break the bank. Im not that desperate, but Id like to improve the stance of the Cup a bit. That front suspension is way too high!

Thanks for all your help.

Si.

Righto mate.

Ill fit some different compound pads when im back, they are cheap so you can test a couple compounds to see which one you like. If thats not enough, there are larger discs available.

Suspension, coilovers will cost a litte, and the H&R ones that ive fitted and tried are fantastic, not adj so no silly adj to confuse as most people do get confused to what they are doing.

If no, we can fit some lowering springs and see how that goes.

eh?

Pi are fine, as are msot of the other springs........there isnt much to get wrong with manufacturing. Go for it, perfectly fine stuff.

Si - PM me and pop over sometime for a spin in mine, running Eibachs and Performance Friction carbon-metallic pads.

On your Cup you could run the Eibach Sportlines (30mm drop as opposed to 10mm on the Pro-Kit I have). As for the brakes, see what you think of the pad change Ive made before spending loadsamoney on new discs.
