Just dug my receipt out for you... didn't fit the Scenic without some twisting effort but I believe they'll fit the Clio II much better.
Part Description: H23D Washer Jet
Part No: C6438V8
Unit Price: £3.61
Units Req'd: 2
Deffo a worthwhile upgrade and your washer bottle won't empty as fast...
Biggest problem causer at the minute are batteries (Second to frozen coolant casuing jumped timing belts... check your coolant people)
Yesterday, I had a 2.3 Zetec Galaxy come in that just wouldn't go. It would crank fine, diagnostics showed the ECM as recognising rotation but it still had no...
There's some corker excuses coming out of workshops at the minute and this is a good one to... next they're be telling her to pump the throttle to get fuel up
Obviously this isn't right and its temperature related but, my question; does it only do this in freezing temps or does it...
Sorry to ask a really stupid question but i'm new here so don't know you or your cars history. Has it ever had problems with water ingress as the problems you've got there cannot be down to actual component failures... not that many at once even if its been to the moon and back several times...
Indeed a ruddy good find that though cos I hate having to replace a shaft for the sake of a knock on/off joint. I understand the reasonings why they do it that way but its helluva annoying spunking out £200 when you don't really need to. I believe they *should* be the same outer CV joints on the...
Automatic gearboxes are not of this world and you would be far better taking it to an auto-box specialist IMO however gear oil level and oil preasure can do things like this.
When was the car last serviced and the box oil checked/changed?
Has it had a brand new 'virgin' UCH fitted by Renault and setup on a Clip or is it a second hand, decoded unit thats been fitted by a backstreet garage?
Diagnostics on a Clip will most likely turn up nothing. Those two lights will only come on when a low oil preasure has been observed. Your problem is one of the following :
1 - The oil preasure switch is faulty.
2 - The actual oil preasure is low.
If its a faulty switch then it is easily...
If you have 100% faith in the ability of the garage to do the job right, using the correct tools required for the job and at a price that you think is fair then go for it.
Mick
PS: I love those wheels against the blue coach... tres smart!
Had these on my Scenic for over a year and they're mint. They do spray over the car at slow speed but ive found short bursts work well and solve that problem... they are bang on over 40mph though and work perfect at 80mph.
Were any other fuses blown? Check the engine bay box to as there are a couple of fuses there also. Could it be the main sensor loop issue? Possibly, yes but without a diagnostic its hard to say as the main sensor array will, when effected by lack of power or a short to ground, will normally show...
The rear number plate light shouldn't do any serious damage on its own even if it shorted to ground... worst case it would pop the tail lamp circuit fuse which is rated at around 10A. Have you checked all the mini-blade fuses in the drivers fuse box? Are you sure you've not something else bar...
I agree there to Danny and i'll only use FAI pumps who supply Renault. Admitedly the aux belt run does bump it up but its rare the K4M tensioners die... just the belt really needs changing.
Its still a lot though Jin. I've still not paid my subs so won't name drop but I personally do K4M's on fixed fee at £250 all done with warranty - That's new timing belt, tensioners, water pump and coolant. Personally I wouldn't pay anyone anymore than £350 to do this job but make sure that...
@ Revels - True, but you misunderstand me as I wasn't attempting to make a direct comparison. The PB isn't out until sometime around Feb '11 in the UK but the spec has been confirmed and as it's all i've got to go on at the minute hence me asking what actual iPad users think their device rather...
Cheers Justin - Again, being objective here rather than trying to start a battle; You say spec isn't that important to "most" people however, after reading this thread alone there are multiple complaints by owners stating Safari slows whilst browsing or reboots after viewing large photo...
Sorry to ask this in an Apple orientated tablet thread but I really think devices like this are the future for general everyday "users" of the cloud based internet. Not meaning to start a Vs battle but rather seeking a genuine response to a question so, how do you think the iPad is going to fare...
Yum, yum - that's tastefull
Elia are an Autrian tuning/styling company. Some of there Nissan stuff looks good and i'm guessing this wasn't your average cheap Renault kit either but "horses for courses" and all that... I think its terrible, especially those rear quater panels [shudders]
