I plonked my arse in one on the Recaro stand at Autosport. I shall be ordering them for my next 182.:D Just from sitting in one I can imagine Ill be using the wheel to hold me in my place a lot less.

They are screwed to the bumper with 8 self tapping screws.

I have no idea what Renault Birmingham or Sutton Park use but Id say it has the softness of a scouring pad looking at the state of mine.

I had this problem from new on my 172. They replaced the runners but the problem soon came back. My 182 has been okay. I think closing up the runners was found to help, but obviously made moving the seat harder.
