On the subject of gold in the McLaren engine bay I thought it was because it was the best thing to reflect the heat, to prevent it seeping into the cockpit. And back on topic, nice work Phunkey.

You should be able to get an import one for that amount. I traded my 03 Import Monaco Blue 172 in with 23k on the clock at a main dealer for £8,600 July last year.
