Before I potentially purchase some coilovers for the 182 can someone please have a look at these pictures.
I've done a search and have come to the conclusion that I have the cup suspension but just want to confirm.
Ps I hope these are the pictures of the right part!
Such a great colour when clean and in the sun!

Back in a 182 - how predictable!
As much as I like my mk4 wagon it was just not a drivers car so it had to go and should be going at the weekend.
I obviously still have the Evo but made the decision to keep it garaged over winter so therefore needed something to run around in.
I Saw Matthew...
What do we think of this one?

Went to see it tonight. Belts due now, depahser pulley noisy, different tyres all round, head lights need sorting and wear on the drivers bolster.
This one a forum car?

Can't help but feel it would've been better if it was left alone.
Made my annual trip to the VW festival this year. It was pretty busy but I found myself bored after 3hrs.
Took some pics. The 3dsm seat / scirocco boys were out in force but there was still some cool stuff. Also nice to see the Rado again.
Well, after a couple of failed eBay attempts I've now got four cars which are currently all taxed and insured.
I've got the a4 which the wife uses everyday which will be staying;
I'm in a bit of a situation as I don't want to run the evo over winter so could do with keeping the golf for...
Continuing my 'you only get one life' approach to car buying I have bought my new toy!
1999 Evo 6
80k
No history from before it came to the UK but since it arrived in 2011 it has been dry stored and maintained by the same Evo specialist CPP.
Went to look at the car and it was at a nice house...
Drove past this today just outside malton on my way to the Yorkshire modified car show at Pickering. Looks like the driver gave it some beans off the roundabout but binned it. The rozzers were just turning up.
East Leeds Blast
Date subject to change if required but provisionally 28th June 2015
Alright dudes, I thought I'd try arrange something a little more central for the Yorkshire members.
The plan would be to meet up at Colton McDonald's (ls15 9jh) at around 1030 with a view to leaving at 1045...
What's everyone think of this xsi?
I've always wanted a 16V xsi in this colour since I was a wee lad. This one has popped up on Facebook not far from me with a reasonable spec. I know it's chav.
It's not a golf r but on the flip side it is paid for and I do own it.
I needed something for the dog that did more than 15mpg (unlike the scoob).
For some reason I have always loved the mk4 golf 'wagon' so decided to have a punt on this.
It's the V5 170bhp version, far from fast but does make...
My mum and dad have gone on holiday and have kindly left me with their A3 to cut about in. It's the diesel version but I love the shape! I'm planning on buying the s3 version in 14 years when the depreciation reaches my level of car buying.
Few pics (excuse the kids)
For sale not that far from me. I note the cliosport sticker in the back window.

Not going to lose much on this. Can't beat a white s1 Rallye......apart from a black s1 Rallye.
Mint 106 Rallye

Gave this a once over today.
It's an sti ra which has just had a lot of work done and should be running 450 to 500bhp when the running in period is over.
Here's some pics;
My mate came round today to give the Evo FQ360 a once over. I love this car, it's so fast it makes me smile every time Ive been out in it.
Anyway, I'm no detailer so this was just a snow foam, two bucket, dry, Polish and wax kind of day.
How it looked before;
And after;
Just got back from picking this up. I needed something i could put the dog in and take the kids to school in and this fitted the bill.
More details tomorrow !
Well after much consideration I decided you only live once and went and bought this saxo turbo.
It's low, real low, has morettes and 6x9s as well as several stickers but I like it.
The aim is to return it to near standard looks wise with just the addition of a bit of boost,
Some pics;
Similar money for both but out of these two which would you choose?
Saxo vts turbo - non forged running low boost on standard internals (around 180bhp).
Or
S1 106 Rallye in white, tin top, standard 1.3 rebuilt, all standard parts included.
Myself (jim) and Matthew (erm Matthew) have now been appointed the new area reps for the Yorkshire area!
To be honest, nobody else applied so we got the job by default rather than on merit but we're going to give it a shot.
I am the area rep for north yorks and humberside and Matt is the rep...
Having a few running issues with the clio.
It has developed an intermittent misfire which seems to be getting worse. It started with the engine light coming on and flashing but then going off and now the engine light is staying on as a solid light. The car also has a rough idle.
I've swapped...
