lowering with 17s

at the moment i am running 15s with 195 45 tyres! n its lowered by 120mm at the back! now i am loking at purchasing some 17s for wen my car is totally re-sprayed! nowi need to know what sort of mods if ne i will need to do n if infact i can actually lower my car atall wit 17s on it! no problem at front tho cos got 16v wings! oh its only a 1.2 so rear wings arent flared! ne help appreciated! merlin

yeah but IIRC merlin has an RT (rear tosion bar, so much easier)

get the body shop to flare the rear????

yeah its a torsion bar at the rear but i am fed up with having to repair my rear bumper! so am willing to jack it up to get some 17s on it! ne1 know jus how low i can go before i hit problems??
