Nope, someone experienced will diagnose it with their ears. No need to touch anything.
Saying that, I've heard a lot of other noises coming from them. Dephaser is the one that seems to get banded about most of late.

Get in the wanted section, you'll be able to buy a set of springs for £30 odd. If you want uprated ones, Eibach Sportlines sell for approx £100 for the full set second hand.
Should be an hour or so's labour to fit the front pair. 20 mins to do the rears. (can be done much...
Few options.
-Reverse thread tools from Halfords.
-Weld an old socket onto locking wheel nut. Remove that way.
I've got more locking wheel nuts that I could ever use. If you need some to replace, let me know.
PMSL. £380's a bargain if you're getting warranty, a reciept and new box oil. From someone who knows what they're doing too!
Clutch cable isn't necessary unless you're having problems with it.
Agreed. Use a bunch of cowboys and it'll never go well.
2hrs 45mins is impossible. I did one in 3.5 hours and that was flat out. And I've done about 12 now! No ways are they going to be any quicker than that.
When you say you put a tag on the box, where was it? Got a picture of where you put it?
Tool not always needed.
Put pressure on the wishbone pushing it down (i use a breaker bar levered against something solid (gearbox or chassis normally)) and hit the ball joint from above with a hammer and bolster.
PMSL.
That's been retired now.
Scaffolding pole sorts anything else that's an issue. (;
Oh, yeah- worth mentioning i remove the box from the studs, then remove the clutch plate- gives you an extra 2" in the bay, which is always handy. Ahem.
Shitter.
Glad to hear you're ok though mate.
If you need a shed to roll around in for a bit, a mate of mine is selling his old shitty AX- http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/110934638364?ssPageName=STRK:MESELX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1555.l2649
Had it for ages and it's been a cracking little toy car.
Also...
Yep, lol.
Done about six out the top now. Probably another 6 or 7 through lowering the subframe and out of the wheel arch.
I've also taken one out the bottom of the subframe without lowering it and taking box out of under the car- never again.
