Well, if I was to get one.. Id definetly get an Origin B2.. wouldnt even look at any others. It does everything you need, ever.. has the best database.. looks great.. and yea, its £320.. which is quite good for all the stuff it does.

Williams brake Upgrade on mine is fantastic - MUCH better than the original Solid discs. Got some Calipers.. some new discs and pads.. cost about £106 for the lot.. (£40 Calipers, £66 new Discs/Pads from Euro Car Parts). So much different.

Discs have no advantage really.. apart from getting rid of heat. (and looks) Anyway, to get them on your 1.2.. you need an RSi rear axle and everything.. its standard width track so should fit!

Out of interest, what have people found to wear the best? Which last the longest but also have adequate grip in both dry and wet weather?

Ive never been impressed with 1/4 mile times of GT Turbos.. all seem to be about 15 - 17.. which is very Valverish. Ive seen one do 1/4 in like 15.5 seconds, but only returning like an average of 20mpg in normal driving.. heh. You might get cheaper Tax, but Im sure itll make up for it in...

arches and bumper aint bad. Lights and Bonnet for £40 is a good price, yes.

When I had mine installed at an ICE place.. they just screwed it into the Metal Backing of the seats.

I have Uniroyal Rainsport Ones on the back - seem very good. Dunno what Ill have next.. Ill have to see.. but Uniroyals will be one of my choices.

C5 == New Ai606 I think.. or similar. When I got mine, they said the Ai606 was discontinued.. and everyone was on about the C5.

Most people Ive spoken to, including me (I speak to myself) all agree that Proxes are terrible in anything but the dry.

Clifford Concept 300.. Then Toad Ai606.. Id have either of those.. but I went for the Clifford in the end.. pleased I did!

Im guessing they are different.. .. so Id get the 16v one. AFAIK, only the 16v has the arches, the bumpers and the bonnet it has..

I have the Dual Zone Proxes on mine.. so it warns people away if they walk to close.. and sets the alarm off if they reach into the car itself.

Erm, the front of a 16v is no wider.. standard bumpers fit onto 16v arches.. the back is different tho.. so dont get a 16v rear bumper if you dont have 16v rear arches.

My ride isnt bad - dont jump cd player or anything.. but people who aint used to it says its bumpy.. arwell, handling is much better tho!

Clifford are worth every penny - as long as they are installed right. Get a bad install, and itll be the worst alarm ever.. get a good install, and itll be the best alarm ever.

Does it get a good Sat Lock? I always found with my GPS Receiver it worked better in the windscreen.. the heated rear screen messed it up.. and there wasnt anywhere really else?

Sure its not Sills? The hole can get blocked I think so it dont drain away. I get it from time to time.. kinda weird. You accelerate and its like water is somewhere swirling about, and thats what someone told me it was.

Muck off is seriously cool stuff.. brings up my alloys great!

Lets hope they put it against the 182 or something..

(Even on mine, Mk1 Phase3, the front comes up before the back.. anyway.. and thats got a Torsion bar.. infact, it takes a lot of going to get the back up - like the front has to be very high!)
