you're missing the point, and its not a vauxhall ;) I;ll conceed there it wasn't the filter. why has it only just started doing it? too much oil in it?
It never used to do this though. why now? it was a bit oily by the breather pipe in the elbow. It looked like there was oil in the plenum when i looked in.
100 degrees in plenum? didn't feel that warm after a good journey round the block. I see your point though. Think its just to aid the engine temp on input
very true. I'm still torn between the standard box or the v6. Got both at the moment. Just need a new ITG of Ktec equivalent.

When i had the clio serviced in October i had the TB cleaned for the first time after 48K (looked cleaner than these pics). Anyway, put a K&N cone on at chrismas and now look at it. Took it off, gave it a clean and you can see the difference.
It made a nice sound i might add...
nicely put mate. i've got a v6 box i'm toying with putting on, but not expecting gains from it. More noise change and an bigger air feed. Might not bother though. Is the standard box and itg filter ok for when you're looking at increasing power and remap? I know filter can make a difference when...
