f**k me. Some epic rain on the b-roads back from work, 50miles of pitted, rutted tarmac, lots of standing water. They were pretty poor TBH, but then I wasn't expecting anything else. If it's just wet (ie not puddles and standing water) they are very good, but not with standing water.
It's all about how qualified people are to pass of opinion as fact IMO. The mags tend to make clear that it's opinion, there's no objective scale for enjoyment, steering feel etc. Much like heel and toe discussions. Qualifications brad??????????
Brad, you do realise that metcalfe bought and still owns, a trophy? Seeing ad you're about, have you let us know your raving qualifications in the heel and toe thread yet?
Looking at the rs2, water drainage was clearly not a priority. Understandable, as they wouldn't hold up as well on track. Mine will stay purely for track use, nice to have a tyre I won't be of scared of drivng home from a track day if it's raining though lol.
Doubt they'll bother bringing them over with the new legislation coming in early next year. Just put some RS2's on today, be trying them properly on Tuesday at Oulton.
Pointless video's. When car mag's do the test, they pick a circuit/driver/conditions that suit the car, vive versa the bikes.
Ultimate v ultimate, I doubt any race bike would match an F1 car.
