Would you say a clutch change is a specialist only job??

I still maintain that a 4ft length of Scaffolding pole is the perfect engine crane! They don't make spirit levels like that anymore, so I'm told.

Would you say a clutch change is a specialist only job??

Impossible to re-align the subframe incorrectly. It can only bolt to the car in one place and the rear mounts have locating bumps.

Would you say a clutch change is a specialist only job??

As said, approx £450-500 for clutch change. Changing the box over would be no extra. Flywheel, I'd guess an extra hour's labour plus the cost of the part.

PMSL. I eat clutch changes for breakfast. Do 'em cheap, too!

Would you say a clutch change is a specialist only job??

Plenty of 172's knock on for 130k on standard clutches. All depends how they've been treated, but IMO, it's the strongest part of the car!

    TroFail Finished! - New Wheels/Seats/Lowish

Not a paint reflection shot. Camber shot. Will- negative camber keeps the maximum amount of tyre on the road whilst hard cornering. Too much negative and you'll have light steering and wheelspinning everywhere, lol.

Want to run 172 brakes all round, what rear beam do i need?

I've got a pair of stub axles. Most of the time they'll come on the beam you buy though.
