    Check all the mounts are tight and not visibly shot. If not, undo mounts, pull engine forward and tighten mounts whilst it's still forward. THe noise you can probably hear is the manifold knocking on the subframe.

    Yep, will work fine. I'd always use a cup box, if possible. The ratios are so much better, imo.

    A JC5 129 will fit. Just don't plug the sensor in. All those with a 130 gearbox gets the speed reading from the ABS. Any with speedo sensor uses that.

    Yep, most likely a 129. You can see the speed sensor easily enough, though. THe wire you mean could be an earth.

    No need for drop links. The second pic is a bracket to support the subframe and as explained it holds the archliner. Also, the lower mount looks fine to me.
