The wiring was changed IIRC, you need to swap one of the leads on the alpine wiring harness, easy to figure out if you have a look at the alpine wiring diagram in the manual.
I have a calculator on my nokia FFS. I'm not going to be doing calculus on the move, it's more than adequate for the times it's needed. And if I used the calculator for any lengthy calculations the iphone would run out of battery before I finished.
I'd rather have one small phone, that's just a phone. To me, the iphone is stupidly big for a phone. f**k knows how Chris copes, surely it's bigger than his jeans?
Whats the issue with having buttons? Simple, easy, reliable. It's like the c**t that put auto wipers on a clio. What kind of a silly wanker thinks putting wipers on is an effort? Ditto lights. FFS, if I can control a car, I can sure as f**k twist a dial.
f**king pointless. Just another f**king thing invented just because they could. Like iDrive
"Right lads, here's the idea. Clearly defined, logically placed buttons are soooo last season. I want a big f**k off knob, so it takes 10 mins to put 5live on. While we're at it, we'll make them press a...
I think 4pots are of limited benefit due to wheels size. Pretty big pad area on the standard set-up, can't go much bigger otherwise the discs won't fit under the wheels! IIRC 4pots won't go under 15's, so a non-starter for me.
Not 1*2, but the 197 did 24hrs at silverstone, quickest in class, discs didn't need changing once.
Regardless, it's not relevant on a road car. Can't see any advantage to them.
Twas Icarus's team IIRC.
Can't find the thread, but his comments
Even if you're doing track days, on slicks, can drive and have a sequential box is questionable if its worth it. Clio Cup racers could still lock the wheels up from a decent speed on hot slicks!
The cars only weigh 1100kg, just...
