    Drivers side is always slightly heavier, iirc. Measure it with an empty-ish petrol tank.. Might be that.

    I did mine in my old Ph1 whilst i was changing the gearbox, and the original clutch was still in almost new condition, after almost 105k!

    Tried Cliospares? Someone local will fit it for a few quid, i'm sure. It doesn't take long.

    No. They're the strongest part about most RS', imo. If treated well, they've been known to do well over 100k.
