With a punto i had, i used to select 1st, then into reverse, much better then.

wheel bearing? Mishaped tyre? Jack up one side of the rear and spin the wheel, should be pretty silent with no play. Also the tyre should be uniform. Repeat with the other side.

I notced my 182 strut tops have been modded, but looks like from the factory, as there is no new paint etc. They are different shaped from my 172 Cup units

Just get it to a garage!!!! First check for play in the rack, if there is no play give it a full geometry set up, go from there :) (common sense)

You can try Meguirs scratc x, buts its hard going by hand!!! Imo you will need a PC polisher, takes all the heartache out of Black Gold. I tried to correct mine by hand, used super resin polish. It was still full of swirls (right side) Quick pass over with a PC, (left side) improved 100%...
