Lol at all the doubters. Also people fail to realise if i sold my Maxogen i'd easy get ~£220..... so thats a 100 loss or so. A viper would fetch £50..... Whats bettter value now ;) Its all relative tbh. I wanted the best filter for my Cup, and this is it. Period ;)

flat spot could be induction kit. If its a viper or an open type, they are poor. The viper on mine made it flat spot like a b*****d. If its an open type filter that'll be sucking in warm air. If its felt like this recently, it could be due to the warm weather.

well i've not seen first pic pipe on mine when i removed my airbox? On the airbox the top part is obviously for the intake elbow.... the other hole left goes the the accoustic valve, but in a 'furry' lol airfeed, like the other one on the airbox

Does it do what i said though? The noise will dissapear high up the rev range. Also do you have any kind of induction kit?

Yep agree.... i'd imagine it will be a *tad* smaller than i ph1 tbh.....

one thing i would say about surface area is its all relative tbh. Too small is a bad thing (viper is tiny made my car laaaag) Too big..... well the engine can only suck through the intake pipe, so you could have a filter with a surface area the of the bonnet for instance, but that wont gain you...

lol. No bolt on filter will give major hp on a F4R. Its the best induction kit out there for a clio 172/182 bar non. With a CTR for instance there is more choice of high quality kits. With the clio there isn't.

Much better than a viper. Bigger filter, (more air in) better made (actually fit the car and doesnt fall apart.) so yes, better.

Same as a 172..... seen one at a dealer on the forecourt up some ramps. Imo its bollox...... 45kg of downforce?! The bumper would be ripped off!!! The diffuser is only clipped on too!. That said they do look cool, and add interest to the rear.

I too would never buy a modded car. I will sell mine compleatly standard, recaro's maxogen and H&R'd would come off. I would make 1.5k selling them bits off..... then whatever the car fetches is a bonus. Mine aint worth selling as its done 72k. Its never wanted for anything and is prestine for...
