more rubber in contact with the road that can lead to aquaplaining (sp)
I'd stick with 195's tbh, especaially if lowered, as they will catch/rub. 182's have the different offset to compensate this
i meant the caster is different on a cup from normal a 172.... (that cant be changed as you say)
also i'm not sure the rears can be adjusted at all, most cars are like this?
its called mechanical sympathy..........
i drive my 172 pretty hard imo.... (see the shift light most mights lol) and never had any problems. Keep them serviced, no worries imo
i know the castor angles are different on the cup, and i was under the impression the toe settings were different too, i'm sure edde will know
whats the tread depth like on the front tyres?, i found when mine are low, mine too feels more nervous and 'tramlines' more (follows the road camber etc)
it'll blow up...... nah, its just brought on the emmissions light but runs fine. It only stops fuel vapours espacing into the atmoshere (pollution etc) it just dumps them into the inlet whilst on idle and cruise. I will get it replaced eventually, its the solinoid that gets noisy
try these, cheaper than reanult apparently, then just get kwickfit to swap them over etc, but it is very easy on a 182. Try it yourself?

yes yours (182's) should have these, in this 'joined up' font (different to the 172 version) but i remember alot of new cups coming without. There should just be the two above the door handles, not any on the boot...
too high, my old punto gt was mint, you could slam the seat to the floor, truly awsomme, although seats lacked suppport. I had some cobra dayonas with low subframes and they were superb imo, now gone though
