Did you clay the car before you polished?
What polishes did you use and how did you apply?
A good once-over with a machine polisher might help with most of the scratches
You might not be able to post it in the FS section without having membership mate. I'd take a rough stab and say about £40 - more if you let the speakers go with it
It has been put to me in the best phrase I could imagine;

6x9s are commonly mounted in the rear of cars, in the parcel shelf or hidden in C-Pillars.
Some do have the ability to produce a little more bass than components and...
In all fairness to matt_clio94 it sounds like a dodgy dealer, if it had been me I would have seeked some advice from trading standards first and inform them if it has happened before/to others.

"Steering Wheel Ready" is very misleading as you still need an adpater (such as above) to connect the HU to the steering wheel stalk controls

A wee 4 channel amp should see you finish that off nicely. That way you can amp your components and still have the option of adding a sub to your setup
