Go for a good set of 17cm components in the front and 13cm coaxils in the rear :)
Amp the front-end and use the mono to run the sub - sweet sounds all the way!
So I'd need to go over the car again with SSR 2 or 1, then VM & EX-P
For duarbility - a good wax on top of that;
I have natty's blue, souveran and megs #16 here :)
Last week I PC'd my car with Poorboys SSR 2.5, glazed with CK vanilla hand glaze moose then sealed with Poorboys EX-P.
I gave the car a quick wash yesterday using the 2 bucket method & grit guards as I normally do. (also using Megs lambswool mitt & Sonus der wunder drying towels)
When drying...
^^ I was going to go for that Alpine sub - sound-offs have shown that a 400watt RMS (800watt peak) sub will rip the pants off the Alpine. (Sound-off was carried out by people who are a main distributor of both Alpine & Focal)
Since I'm opting for SQ instead of SPL (when i get it set up) I went...
When I got my 04 Dynamique it had no glove-box light.
My dads 02 dci dynamique has one.
I asked at Renault and they said the feature wasn't put in as it caused problems in earlier models :S
How do you remove the protection plate & sump plug - where is it located and what tools are used?
Also a little dilemma - I can't get a jack under my skirts :(
Yeah those seem like good ones - going by Alpine's reputation :)
I have 13cm coaxils in the rear of mine, they are about 50w RMS - MORE than sufficient!
Concentrate on putting the power in the front-end
Your HU is probably the best part of the setup as Pioneer aren't bad :)
Check all your connections are tight
Check that your equliser settings on the HU haven't been turned down - some frequencies will let you play some levels of bass.
Don't go mad trying to pump lorry-loads of bass out of...
Mine was doing exactly the same, at random intervals & conditions (engine on/off and car being cold/hot)
Turned out that my amp was going into protection mode as there was a fault somewhere.
Local audio dealer (Audio Advice) where it was bought replaced the amp under warranty and it was fine...
Scrap the 6x9s mate and go with the rest of the stuff - seems decent :)
You will have a better "soundstage" with a set of rear coaxils than with the 6x9s too
**I can only find a thread for the 172 oil-change**
How exactly do I change the oil on a dci ?
Do I need anything other than;
Jack or lift
Oil
Filter
Container to catch the oil
Cheers
