I remember reading that there's a swedish institute that records real world accidents ( ie no of injuries/ deaths) for individual cars, and that NCAP doesn't always help because a lot of fatalities involve side impacts which is only tested quite lightly by NCAP.

Had a look at that, don't fancy wiring all that up! Think the basic version just needs power and earth, then feeds for revs/speed, but don't know how easy that is

I have a blueflame on my 182, wouldn't go near them again, terrible customer service and they can't fit their own product.

If it had a small turbo to boost the mid-range I'd be there. It's not too bad when you use every spare rev, but it's when you pull out to overtake that it feels gutless. Be interesting to see if the engines loosen up like the 172/182's.

Had a decat on my 182, if you're not worried by the legal issues, go for it. Felt a noticeable difference in mid range and throttle response, but not sure if that would be the same on a smaller engine.

If you download a program called copypod, you can move files off your ipod onto any library. Got it myself, saves clogging my hard drive up with all my music. So you could fill the ipod for her, stick a copy of copypod on cd, then she can download it to her pc.

Spoke to Milltek last week, they said they're having problems with material supply. Guy I spoke to estimates the new year at the earliest!

Bodyshop showed me the invoice, only £35 quid! The guy I dealt with is gonna try and get me a few more.

Crashed it last weekend. Got new front wing, bonnet, front bumper, splitter (£35 from Renault!), refurbed wheel, new headlight and lots of other little bits. Looks like new.

Just got my 182 back from the repair shop, so glad! Been driving a Mits Colt all week, 182 feels like a rocket!!:D

Polycarb scratches sooooooooooooo easily, can't see them lasting well!

Even lotus now include abs on the Elise, so it can't be that bad for track use.
