My rear window heater seems to be playing up - or is it my magical imagination? (y) Its seems to leave a trace of condensation along the wire running across the middle of the window while the rest of the window is cleared up. What could this be? Any help is much appreciated Trev

its the ice/alarm specialists that gave me the quote - they said something about doing the bootlid with whatever was left over from the "door pack" where would you get that foam ?

Rorrie - 2 rolls of dynamatt extreme on each door and 1 roll for the bootlid i think. I havent got a full boot just an amp/sub so the acoustic rattles arent that bad to be honest. You can hear the plastic in the bootlid and the doors going nuts from the outside of the car (doors/windows...

Thanks Rorrie the guys who fitted my ICE had the dash out after "I thought" the screw fell into the vents so I think its just Renaults famous plastic thats vibrating in the dash. remember the Clio is just a baby car, goes nowhere without a rattle :p There does seem to be something loose...

How would I know if I have something stuck in my vents? (get occasional vibrating noise seems to come from behind the dials) I thought one of my CS tax holder screws fell into my vents about a month ago - not 100% They were all in the dish on the dash and I hit a bump and all of them flew...

Is that screw more annoying than the rest of the clio rattles?

i got this in my 1.4rt - a realy bad night on a 60mph road - some fool doing 35 in a corsa came into a 40mph zone and he slowed to about 15-20! - I seen the road was clear and proceeded to overtake. he increased his speed and a van behind me had closed in on the corsa so I couldnt return...

To be fair that is someones pride & joy! :) (and in my rep area too, I might add;)) I like it as theres a lot of work put into it - some of the things on it I wouldnt do to my own car but then thats down to personal taste. As Ive said - I was thinking of the 3-stripes in the cliosport...
