mine too - renault told me they changed the brake light switch and it hasnt come on since - as you said bit worrying that i might have been driving round with no brake lights!
sorted - nice 1. awkward to get your fingers in to get it on the groove - takes a bit of time. WHen I got mine they gave me a longet hose as well but i didnt bother using it.
if I had the choice again ali I would have gone for the same as you - would have saved a load of money - buy the time I had the tracking camber etc sorted on 2 different sets of coilovers plus paying for them etc I must have spent about £2000 on them - its good now but not worth £2000 - oh well...
shaun - the rubber stop is only just bigger than the hole - give it a pull mate - it will definately come through - try and turn it as you pull or put some wd40 on to lubricate it if your worried about snapping it, should grease it up enough to slide it out easy. I have a normal 172 ff and...
just buy a set of them - the majority of the screws in a clio are that shape but all different sizes. They are good - stops them getting rounded off better
I have had both Fk konigsports adjustables and now H&R non adjustable and would never go back. The Fk's work but no where near as well as the H&R.
Why would you go for the FK's out of the 2 when as you said they are the same price roughly - H&R are a specialist suspension manufacturer - FK...

sorry - I disagree - the Fk's from my experience are no where near the H&R's.
After trying the H&R's I would probably go for the bilsteins next time -H&R's could do with being slightly firmer imo
fk will go lower but its too low - handling will be compromised badly - ok if you just want to look good but I like my car to drive well as well - 50mm is about as much as I would ever go

Exhaust centre in Cardiff told me that because only a 2.0 car the engine will not produce enough gasses to warrant having anything bigger than 2 inch as it will mess up...

although I do agree that if you are lucky enough to find a really looked after one it will probably be great - just dont buy a badly pre modded one. if it is modded make sure they are good mods. Half my money went on fixing othr people c**k ups
what about turbos failing, gear box's, clutch, rad etc etc - I replaced all those bits - some a couple of times and that was 8 years ago with a K-Reg 5 turbo (one of the last ones) - cost me a fortune, thats the reason i ended up buying a new car this time - just to get the warranty.

As far as Im aware no air filters really do alot - i have a hill power filter and it works well enough - have also had a K&N and pipercross and not noticed any difference really - K&N sounded best though. Quite fancy a green cotten one or something like that next I think

what are you doing to the williams then - getting back to mint and basic tuning like the 172
unclipping the bloody arch liner is the worst part! plus taking wheels on and off all the time is making the bolt holes look rough - might do it oneday
