all setup has been done and have got H&R's - its just that the car is so low that when hitting big bumps etc the car hits the bump stops as not enough travel in suspension - one of the reasons the 192 is so high is so that there is plenty of travel meaning it can deal with most surfaces well.
only problem i find with having the car set low is when you are on a bumpy B road car tends to be all over the place - on a nice smooth road its far better than standard but as soon as these welsh roads get a bit uneven I have to either slow down or end up in a hedge. Round town and motorways...
all the guy that reset mine had was like a palm top computer with a few extra plug ins - he said he downloads various software for it off the net and can do pretty much all cars with it. Would be handy to have if can get it cheap - he charged me £20 for about 2 mins work!
yeah they would do it but as you said charge you a fortune for it - its really easy to fit - only 2 screws to remove and then it just pops off.
The only trouble you will have have is the washer jet hose is about 1cm too short for the cup spoiler sdo you will have to pull the hose out of the boot...
When you change your decat back to standard cat do you have to have your emissions light reset or does it automatically work out that the emissions are now ok and turn off?
I had my side strips nicked couple of months ago and the silly t**t left some blood on my door - police matched it and I am now going to court to p[rosecute him. More than anything I just want to see who it was as apparently he isnt even 16 yet so cant go to prison but has been done for this...
you could seal up the small hole where the second sensor goes for a mk1 if needed - I could get this done for anyone with a mk1 free of charge.
am keeping the car for a while now - have decided to pay off some more debts before I get a new car - still selling the exhaust though - it all helps...
there is a gap in the grill ali - it aint big but should feed quite a bit of air in - only thing I would worry about is water going through the grill when it rains on to the filter
I wish I had my engine cover painted that colour - I did ask for it when I had mine done but Nick at Hill Power could not get hold of it - was just as the 182 came out so had it done the same silver as the car
heres mine though - food for thought
same thing happened to mine about 2 months ago - I take it you mean the seal around the rocker cover? did mine in 2 days and all was fine luckily. Remember to take your service book to the garage so they stamp it for you to say the cam belt has been changed.
Dont worry if you get bad comments on here - sod them! I think it looks great - really well done. Nice to see something different but still not over the top - Nice 1 Good job!
