    should i buy these

yeah thats right but they dont normally stock the relevant size for a clio according to the guy thats works there on their web site they only quote for fitment to a subaru i.e 5 stud et45 offset and also only 7.5 wide whereas i need 7inch wide

Grey skies, slippy roads and a 172

yeah thats it - that makes sense then - I thought you had replaced the rear headrests - much prefer the mk1 versions then.
  12. C

    should i buy these

not on a mk2 172 - they would look tiny - i understand that it would accelerate quicker etc but 17's look the b****cks especially with coilovers (my next buy). I already have 17's but want some dark grey ones and think these look good. I dont think the gain in acceleration with 15's is as...

Grey skies, slippy roads and a 172

the rear head rests in a 172 are a pain - you have to lift them up for someone to be able to sit down in the back then they look crap from behind the car - i want some like the front ones that sit on top of the seat. Tried fitting the front ones in the back but the metal bars are too big to fit...

Grey skies, slippy roads and a 172

how did you get rear head rests that sit normally on the back seats? (hope that makes sense)

    should i buy these

quite similar to trophy wheels in that colour - they can also get me gunmetal (black) or gunmetal behind spokes and polished front which could look good - too many choices - dont know what to do
  16. C

    should i buy these

yeah apparently they are quite light - the guy in the shop said that these wheels are made by Rota who specialise in lightweight wheels for impreza p1's etc - he reckons they are about 4kilos a wheel lighter than your average bk wheel for example so not bad. any one wanna buy some mint 17inch...

    should i buy these

think they look like speedline turinis a bit - im asking coz I already have 17's that look good but want other peoples opinions on these wheels as not cheap and want to reassure myself
  19. C

    should i buy these

can get them in 4 stud - in a 37 offset so perfect fit. they are the only set in Britain - have been imported from JApan by a subaru specialist but he has one set that would fit a 172.

    Vibration in steering

balancing is cheap - about 3/4pound a wheel ( in cardiff anyway) just make sure if you have centre caps that the muppets in the tyre shop dont pull them off with a screw driver! push them out from inside wheel unless you have genuine renault wheels with the tool to remove them. Tracking is...

Clio V6 Mk2. Anyone Else Waiting.....

why do people quote huge figures for mileage when getting insurance? there is no physical way of any insurance company knowing how much mileage you have done in your car (unless brand new and within 1 yr old). I used to work in the AA in my younger days selling car insurance and this always...

Which lowring springs are best for 172??

the sportlines wont be better than the pros as they lower the car more which means the standard shocks are going to suffer. the pros do give a firmer ride than standard but will be a lot less harsh than the sportlines. with regard to handling im not sure - although it will be lower I dont...
