bought this in december of a fellow member on here after selling my impreza, wanted something cheaper to run but still be fun, and im loving the clio. the previous owner had just fitted new 172 cup shocks from renault along with eibach sportline springs so it handled superbly, since then iv...
at seafield road in edinburgh, next door to skoda garage as my dad was picking up his brand new skoda fabia vrs (hes too old for a renaultsport now lol) anyway they had some nice stuff in, red clio 200 with recaros, had a seat in it, lovely car, had the dark optional speedlines as well...
save me going out from work and checking under the car, my ph1 172 has the twin barrel cat that much i know, so how many sensor holes will it have, just cause iv seen a decat for sale and wondering if it will fit. also is there any point in fitting a decat, i mean does it make any real...
as above, to my flame red ph1 172, already on new standard cup shocks and eibach sportlines, it handled really well before i fitted this, put it on the hardest setting, has 2 holes on it, really really impressed. went for a drive after it was fitted and chucked it into a few roundabouts...
going to fit this tomorrow weather permitting (heavy snow forcast for edinburgh) anyway, what setting should i go for, medium or hard? what affect does the hard setting have on the handling? will it be really twitchy at the rear or just even more planted? cheers.
going to attempt to fit this myself over the weekend, what tools are required? just a standard socket set? i presume its best to put the rear up on axle stands? is it an easy job?
just bought one for my ph1 172, hopefully should compliment the new renault shocks and eibach springs. got new hankook v12 tyres fitted to it last saturday, put a k&n in the standard airbox, now im after a nice cat back system to replace the standard item and also get a set of matched inlets...

my front tyres are shot, on standard 15" rims, they were michelins, not sure how old they are as iv only had the car 3 months, so what tyre should i go for?? been on blackcircles and camskill, prices pretty good for the size 195/50/15. any suggestions, as there are loads to choose from...
i have one of these brand new in my garage i got with my williams a few years ago, 195/50/15, and my ph1 172 could do with new front tyres, so im wondering if you can still get these so i can buy one to match??
looking at a cat back for my ph1, looked on you tube and on here for sound and opinions, and im leaning towards the ktec recessed supersport, sounds nice, looks good. other contenders were btb and yozzasport, btb maybe too quiet, yozza maybe too loud?? what would u get?
8-) lol. a k&n replacement filter in the airbox. could be the start of a slippery slope. car has new 172 cup shocks and eibach springs just fitted, but this is my first mod since i bought it couple of weeks ago. so what next, matched inlets and a decat?
after a few years of scooby ownership, (3 classics) i am back in a renaultsport clio. just bought this. http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2313159.htm and i have to say, i am delighted with it, its a cracking little car, drives superbly, feels like a little go kart, lovely seats, really...
hi, going to look at a ph1 172 tomorrow, its a rare milano red y plate, has done 104k, comp service history, standard bar new 172 cup struts and eibach sportline suspension. what should i look out for, what are these cars like to drive, i presume they are quite quick? iv had a clio 16v, a...
