Re: 70% complete 172RWD!
I know ian and ryan and there deffinatly not idiots ! theyve worked on my car a few times, they're not just some diy'ers there both qualified technicians, and to say 3.5k is expensive when you look at the man hours that go into a project like that there hardly going to...
i was told thats what would be up with mine so put a new wishbone on and made no difference,When mine did it there was a certain point when it would start after i'd put a certain amount of lock, but i'd struggle to do it on the road needed to be going really quick
Hi mate i had a rumble/grind on the passenger wheel on my 172 but would only do it when cornering hard right (trackdays) it felt like the tyre was flat,i changed wheel bearing, engine mounts and wish bone and still did it,i started to look towards driveshaft/cv but sold the car
what have you got to back that up with?considering i put a 182 manifold on my 172 i'd say i have a good idea,And top end it definatly tailed off quicker
Re: My mk1 track car blog
there the same as mine i never got the handles cutout i used a small drill and drilled loads of holes then filed the edges smooth
172's loose quite a bit of power when hot, when hillpower was doing some power runs on my 172 it lost quite a bit when it had been on the rollers for a while
