things is though that mistake has just cost them a new shell i'd have thought and if your only a small private company its a lot of money

i've got a golf gt tdi thats done 136k and theres not a single rattle inside,i used to have a 172 that had done 20k and that had rattles galore

i'd wait till its running properly before any comparisons are made,that yellow 106 never run properly and even run out of fuel on track

dont buy the corbeau sprints there really uncomfortable,cobra imola's are ok and cheaper than the pro series,we get 10% of at demon tweeks

someone on the williamsclio site found a place that makes every panel in fibreglass theres a website for it on there somewhere

i'm sure theres a 172 cup thats turbo'd maybe it was that

they havnt got a circlip theres a retainer with 3 13mm bolts

dont forget when an f4r is in a 172 it has a lot of restrictions like aircon,flyby wire (ph2) exhaust and emmisions and you can pick an f4r up with low miles,a willy lump is probably going to need rebuilding so it evens out price wise,my 172 made 155 atw with breathing mods

the diffs down pop out of the 172 box there bolted in not circlip,the casing may have broke?

Re: My mk1 track car blog give it some heat mate and screw a bolt in if your going to knock it in with a bar and lump hammer so you dont mushroom the end,i used a seatbelt bolt as there high tensile

just put the engine in the front where it was meant to be

Re: My mk1 track car blog i had this problem but got it out in the end i gave it some heat got a bar and hammered the torsion bar in then sprayed in wear the torsion bar had moved in with release spray then it pulled out

i had a k reg sri in the same colour as that makes me wish i'd have kept it now and built a bit of a weapon out of it

yeah it was it had a turbo'd honda engine in it

Re: 50% complete 172RWD! its alright people saying put 2 engines in but its vary rare there any good cause theres so many things that have got to be perfect,i remember a 5 turbo with the engine in the back and its just gripped and went and would do 0-60 in under 4secs

anyone looked at the next video down that 182 is well busted
